My mummy is up to take care of me while I study for my big exams which are starting next week. I've gotta say, I love having her up here!! But I feel bad for leaving her alone at home while I go off for my group study.
When she came, she brought loads of food from home :) She took one look at my fridge and went:
"Haiyoo...what is this?"
"Haiyoo..how long has this been in here?"
"Haiyoo..why your house don't have this, don't have that?"
First day she was here, she wanted newspapers and to get some other stuff as well. So I told her I'll drop her off to the near by shops and she'll then walk home.
"Eiii..not that far wor the shops. Just like jie jie's place to the supermarket...but you're place got more hills"
Needless to say those "hills" became my mum's downfall. Carrying newspapers, a small carton and a bottle of fabric deodorizer , she could not conquer those "hills". She actually had to stop a few times on the way up!! She is sooooo unfit!
We went to get groceries yesterday and it was sooooooooooooo obvious that my mum does not do any housework!!
She had no idea what a washing softener was.
She had no idea how to use a washing softener.
She had no idea how much washing liquid to put into the washing.
She had no idea how to work the washing machine properly.
She used the fabric deodorizer thinking it was a surface cleaner.
It was really hilarious!!
Today we went to the wet market to get some fresh groceries and again it was obvious that mum doesn't go do marketing often.
But I still love mummy and I'm super grateful that she's here.
